Nitrax Math Keyboard Research Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 8, 2026
This policy covers Nitrax Math Keyboard Research, an internal application operated by Rony Sitbon using the Threads API. For privacy questions or deletion requests, email contact@mathematicalkeyboard.com.
Purpose and access
The application supports research into public conversations about typing mathematical symbols. Rony reviews relevant conversations and decides whether to respond manually. The application does not automatically publish posts, reply, send messages, like posts or follow accounts.
The authorized account is @mathematicalkeyboard. The application requests threads_basic to read authorized account information and threads_keyword_search for public keyword searches. Public keyword search approval is pending; research searches will run only when that access is available.
Information handled
Current local scripts read account identity and token metadata and refresh access tokens. OAuth access tokens are stored in a local configuration file and credential backups.
When public keyword search is enabled, bounded searches may collect public post text, usernames, post IDs, timestamps, permalinks and relevant public conversation context. Selected evidence and research reports are stored in private local files. The application does not collect private messages or private account content.
Use and access to research
Information is used to identify relevant conversations, prepare research reports and support human review and manual responses. Access to local records is limited to the authorized operator. The operator may review research evidence and reports with AI tools, which can involve sending selected content to those services for processing. Their privacy policies apply to that processing. Threads and Meta also process information under their own policies.
Retention and deletion
Local credentials, research evidence and reports are retained as needed for this internal purpose. Deletion is handled manually; there is no automatic deletion schedule.
To request deletion of information held by this application, email the privacy contact above. Include the relevant Threads post URL or account identification so the operator can locate the records. Additional identification may be requested where needed to handle the request. Deleting local research records does not delete the original post on Threads.
Disconnecting the application
The authorized account holder can revoke the application’s permissions through the Threads website. To disconnect fully, the operator must also manually remove preserved local credentials and credential backups. Revoking access does not automatically delete previously stored research records; request their deletion separately.
This website and policy updates
The website hosting this policy may use its usual cookies and tracking separately from the local Threads integration. See the website privacy policy for details.
This policy may be updated when the application’s operation changes. The date above identifies the latest revision.
