Nitrax Math Bridge Privacy Policy

Nitrax Math Bridge is a browser extension that helps users copy or export mathematical equations displayed on webpages. This policy explains how the extension handles information.

What the extension processes

When you point to, select, copy, or export an equation, Nitrax Math Bridge reads the equation markup needed to provide that action. This may include LaTeX source, MathML markup, and selected text around an equation when you choose to copy a selection for Word.

Local processing

Equation content and selected text are processed locally in your browser. They are not sent to Nitrax Mathematical Keyboard, advertisers, analytics services, or any other server.

What is stored

The extension stores your preferred copy destination, such as Word, LaTeX, Typst, MathML, UnicodeMath, or Markdown, in local browser extension storage on your device. It does not create an account or synchronize this preference to a Nitrax service.

What the extension does not do

Nitrax Math Bridge does not collect analytics, track browsing history, use advertising identifiers, read passwords, or transmit the contents of forms or webpages to Nitrax.

Browser access

The extension needs access to webpages so its user-triggered controls can identify equations rendered with KaTeX, MathJax, or MathML. It only uses this access to provide the copy and export features you request.
